More archive emptying for release number five on Orr Music, which is another solo release from myself. Miniatures is a collection of selected short pieces predominantly composed for moving images over a 12 year time span. Three of the pieces here were made for, in no particular order, a whiteboard animation, a pitch for a documentary film and a student film of my own. The other pieces either sample cherished TV programs or were composed for filmic ideas that never came into being. All of the tracks presented here seem to have a similar sonic DNA despite being intended for different outcomes, hence their inclusion on this release. I hope you might find something to enjoy amongst these ancient musical morsels.
