For a few years at the turn of the millenium, in the basement of an old farmhouse, two electronic music obsessed teenagers would every weekend toil into the early hours to create their vision of a rural rave sound. They called themselves Melting Field. Appearing to play live a handful of times on boats, in tents and at youth centres their performances were enthusiastically received. They were wide eyed with hope for the future.

Then they went to university, and musically drifted apart.....Most of the recorded material was lost. These tracks are a collection of what remained.
